ACM Shanghai Chapter inaugural conference successfully held!

On the morning of January 7, 2025, ACM Shanghai Chapter inaugural conference was held at the Interdisciplinary Building No. 2 on the Jiangwan Campus of Fudan University. Over 30 renowned professors and experts from ACM China as well as other domestic and international institutions participated in this event.

Prof. Ma Huadong, the Chairman of the ACM China Council, delivered the opening speech, expressing his affirmation and gratitude towards the work of the previous leadership team of the Shanghai Chapter. He also extended his support and congratulations to the new leadership team, hoping that under their guidance, the influence of ACM Shanghai Chapter can be further enhanced through diverse activities.

In accordance with the procedure, Prof. Wu Fan, the Vice Chairman of ACM China, announced the results of the leadership transition for ACM Shanghai Chapter and presented certificates. The new Chairman of ACM Shanghai Chapter is Prof. Jiang Yugang from Fudan University, with Prof. Wu Fan from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Prof. Zhang Guanglin from Donghua University, and Prof. Ding Zhijun from Tongji University serving as Vice Chairmen. The Secretary-General is Dr. Cao Yixin from Fudan University. The new Chairman, Vice Chairmen, and Secretary-General each delivered their inaugural speeches outlining their commitments and visions for their terms.
